Our mission is simple: Make Technology Easy for our clients and empower them to use it effectively.</p> <p>Salary: $40,000 - $43,000</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Level 1 NOC Analyst to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about IT infrastructure, eager to grow their skills, and committed to delivering exceptional support in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor network and system alerts using modern monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Datadog, PRTG) </li><li>Perform initial triage and troubleshooting of incidents related to network, server, and cloud infrastructure </li><li>Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support teams with detailed documentation </li><li>Provide remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals </li><li>Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive </li><li>Perform basic Active Directory tasks (password resets, account unlocks, group membership changes) </li><li>Troubleshoot basic network issues (e.g., switch port connectivity, DHCP/DNS issues, VPN access) </li><li>Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, ConnectWise) </li><li>Assist with patch management, endpoint protection, and system updates </li><li>Participate in rotating on-call schedule, including occasional nights and weekends </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of experience in a technical support, help desk, or NOC environment </li><li>Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments </li><li>Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN </li><li>Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting </li><li>Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy </li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills </li><li>Excellent communication and customer service abilities </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (e.g., monitors, printers, networking equipment) </li><li>A valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field </li><li>Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals </li><li>Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools </li><li>Exposure to virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox) </li><li>Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell) and automation tools </li><li>Experience supporting cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) </li></ul> <p>This position is based in our Hauppauge, Long Island office. A valid driver's license is required.</p>
