Come build your career with BAE Systems.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted strategic communications advisor to members of the Human Resources and may support additional function leadership teams. </li><li>Own the executive engagement plan for the Vice President of Human Resources. </li><li>Lead executive communications related to key employee engagement events, key leadership messages, speaking engagements and more. </li><li>Develop and execute integrated communications plans intended to engage and inform employees. </li><li>Develop and manage internal messages and campaigns that support our sector's communication and business strategies. </li><li>Write articles about milestones and accomplishments for our company website, intranet site, and Pulse Magazine. </li><li>Serve as the Executive Communication's team subject matter expert on the Human Resources function. </li><li>Provide support as needed for an alternate support function, in the process of being identified. </li><li>Collaborate with other business area, sector, or corporate communication teams on strategic internal campaigns. </li><li>Work collaboratively with our Creative and Digital teams to develop collateral (training materials, videos, brochures, web content, etc.). </li><li>Develop and track metrics in support of the function's and organization's objectives. </li><li>Ensure all functional communication adheres to corporate branding and identity guidelines. </li><li>Collaborate with other sectors or headquarters teams on strategic campaigns. </li><li>Align to the sector's cultural principles and model safe and ethical behavior. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in either Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or related discipline. More than eight years of corporate communications experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).</p> <p>Strong writing and verbal communications skills.</p> <ul> <li>Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a matrixed organization. </li><li>Ability to establish high-trust relationships, maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion. </li><li>Strong understanding of internal and external communications strategies; ability to think strategically and build implementation plans that have a measurable impact. </li><li>Strong relationship building, negotiation, time management and influencing skills. </li><li>Established business acumen. </li><li>Demonstrated track record of leading enterprise-level communications programs. </li><li>Team-focused networker, collaborator and motivator with a desire to learn and grow. </li><li>Ability to identify, assess, understand, and make recommendations to meet business needs. </li><li>Problem solving skills, with specific focus on developing new, creative ways to drive communications in a changing business environment. </li><li>Ability to simultaneously initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Proficiency in all MS Office programs. </li><li>Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovativeness. </li><li>Can works under consultative direction toward long-range goals and objectives, assignments are often self-initiated. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Defense or high-tech industry experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Pay Information</p> <p>Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912</p> <p>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
