<p>Molin Upper Elementary School is a grade 4-5 school.</p> <p>We are looking for a dynamic, positive special education teacher who enjoys working with elementary school students, who is comfortable in a fast-paced school environment, and who is interested in collaborating with a team of teachers.</p> <p>Must be able to co-plan and work cooperatively and flexibly with general education co-teacher. Have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities. Must be a dynamic teacher able to develop and provide specially designed instruction, both individual and small group, which parallels the general education curriculum. Form positive relationships with all students, staff and parents. Have experience writing, coordinating, and implementing IEPs. Highly organized and timely with all paperwork. Experience with assessment, data analysis, progress monitoring of IEP goals and using data to inform instruction. Reflective of practice, stays current in field, and implements best practices. Maintain regular contact with parents via school phone, school email, communication logs or meetings. Actively participate in special education team meetings. Maintain confidentiality for the purpose of protection of students, staff, parents, and district. Be a positive, involved member of the Molin Team.
