This position also provides training and assistance to department staff.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators</p> <p>The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. This job description shall not be construed as a declaration of the total of the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities and Execution</p> <ul> <li>Schedules student counseling sessions </li><li>Conducts pre-assessment before scheduling appointment to determine appropriate session timeline and identify need for emergency session in cases of crisis </li><li>Coordinates front desk coverage </li><li>Produces and formats documents, including composition, editing, proofreading, and aggregation of data </li><li>Schedules and organizes complex activities, such as meetings, travel, conferences, and departmental activities </li><li>Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls </li><li>Maintains appropriate supply inventory for the office </li><li>Compiles information and organizes it into relevant reports </li><li>Collects, organizes, and composes correspondence for department staff </li><li>Maintains filing systems and utilizes basic word processing, database, and spreadsheet skills </li><li>Assists with data collection and management of immunizations and student health insurance </li><li>Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary </li><li>Assists with and coordinates professional meetings </li><li>Participates in department meetings as requested </li><li>Supports the maintenance of SCRC social media and web page updates </li></ul> <p>Service Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence </li><li>Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University's values </li></ul> <p>Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Answers phones, responds to email, forwards messages, and confirms appointments </li><li>Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies including high-level staff </li><li>Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects </li></ul> <p>Job may require other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Required Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
