<p>Position Summary: Ensure materials are safely inspected, packaged, labeled, and moved to the Finished Goods Area, meeting Versatex's quality standards. Safely operate forklifts per Versatex SOPs.</p> <p>Shifts: 7:00pm-7:00am on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule.</p> <p>Pay: $21.20 (night shift will include a shift differential)</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in basic math (whole numbers, fractions, decimals). </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication. </li><li>Solid attendance during the probationary period. </li><li>Complete Material Handler and Forklift Training Programs. </li><li>Independent in Material Handler duties (OC checks, packaging, labeling, etc.). </li><li>Proficient in Core computer system and Black Book Specs. </li><li>Operate Fox IV label printer and perform basic machine functions. </li><li>Perform Q.C fit testing and participate in Versatex's 5-S system. </li><li>Operate The Pulverizer. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Long periods of standing/walking; regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Use of personal protective equipment as required. </li><li>Flexible shifts and overtime. </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Regular, punctual attendance. </li><li>Notify shift supervisor of problems. </li><li>Relay information to Group Leads and Supervisors. </li><li>Read/interpret safety rules, operating instructions, SOPs. </li><li>Perform basic math and count boards/sheets. </li><li>Recognize/report machine issues. </li><li>Follow line schedule, Black Book, and QC specs. </li><li>Maintain "5S" program standards. </li><li>Perform visual inspections; report defects to Machine Operator. </li><li>Execute/explain PPE and 5-S SOPs. </li><li>Understand all QC checks and use tools for timely Q.C checks. </li><li>Maintain tools and equipment in Fab work areas. </li></ul> <p>QUALITY:</p> <ul> <li>Report quality issues; prevent out-of-spec material from entering finished goods. </li><li>QC and package materials per Versatex quality standards. </li></ul>
