<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys is seeking an Java Architect This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <p>Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project location</p> <p>Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.</p> <p>At least 7 years of Information Technology experience</p> <p>Experience of Back-End development of enterprise applications using J2EE, Spring Boot , Microservices with UI primarily through AngularJS or React JS</p> <p>Experience working on one of DB technologies, writing PL-SQL queries using either Oracle or Postgres</p> <p>Experience of working ReactJS, Node.js, WebLogic.</p> <p>Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle</p> <p>Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies</p> <p>Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Evaluate dependencies & options through optimal considerations of Technologies & impacted Systems</p> <p>Ensuring delivery alignments and compliances to Domain & Security aspects alongside customer's business requirements</p> <p>Applying industry standard design patterns & frameworks, including adoption of Emerging & Open Source technologies as applicable</p> <p>Guide & review team deliverables throughout SDLC phases to ensure high quality code deliverables</p> <p>Design and implementation measures to meet Telco grade Scalability, Performance and Availability factors for target platforms, applications and services</p> <p>Assist in high impact production support, defect triages & resolution pursuits</p> <p>As a technology champion, represent the team(s) in various customer events and meetups.</p> <p>The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.</p>
