<p>Overview</p> <p>This role is primarily responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of finished SCAG product. The Quality Inspector (BIQ: Built in Quality Inspector) may be assigned to any department to assist in meeting the needs of production.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Job Responsibilities </li><li>Ensure units conform to a specific checklist. </li><li>Record findings by completing quality forms and report to the Assembly lead or supervisor. </li><li>Verifies specifications by measuring completed component. </li><li>Helps resolves assembly problems to meet specifications. </li><li>Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. </li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. </li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Qualifications</p> </li><li> <p>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently.</p> </li><li> <p>High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from is accredited institution.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong basic math skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task.</p> </li><li> <p>Good finger and hand coordination.</p> </li><li> <p>Some basic knowledge in blue prints reading and torque values is desired.</p> </li><li> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> </li><li> <p>A High School diploma or GED Equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience working within a highly technical environment</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.</p> </li></ul> <p>Equipment Operated: Measurement devices, wrenches, screwdrivers and various other hand tools.</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Regularly exposed to varying temperature conditions between 60-100 degrees Fahrenheit, loud noise, moving machinery parts, airborne particles, and fumes from production equipment.</p> <p>PM17</p> <p>Metalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer:</p> <p>Minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity</p>
