<p>Nemours Children's Health - Delaware</p> <p>Wilmington, DE</p> <p>Division of Psychology</p> <p>Behavioral Health Therapist</p> <p>Nemours Children's Health - Delaware invites a Masters-level licensed clinician to serve as a Behavioral Health Therapist on the Division of Psychology Integrated Primary Care (IPC) team. Nemours has over a 20-year history of providing IPC services in our network of Nemours pediatric primary clinics throughout the state of Delaware, and we are excited to expand our team. This full-time position involves delivering clinical services to our network of Delaware Nemours pediatric primary care clinics with in-person and virtual service delivery opportunities available.</p> <p>The Behavioral Health Therapist in this role will serve as a Family Check-Up Online Navigator on a research study funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Pediatricians Building Resilience through Early Identification for Toddler Well-Being?(Peds-BRITE). As a Family Check-Up Online Navigator, the clinician will lead service delivery for an online intervention delivered to caregivers of toddlers identified as being at-risk for mental health concerns. The Navigator will play a vital role in helping families engage with the online intervention and apply parenting strategies.</p> <p>In addition to the Navigator role, the Behavioral Health Therapist in this position will provide consultation and intervention for youth from birth to 21 who are referred by their Nemours primary care medical provider. Specifically, the therapist will provide clinical services to sites with an extended waitlist, high volumes of referrals, or where group interventions are provided. There are opportunities to train primary care Behavioral Health and medical providers as well as participate in research activities. Applicants who are bilingual (English-Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities Include:</p> <p>Conduct flexible, brief coaching sessions with individual families as part of the Family Check Up online intervention</p> <p>Provide consultation and intervention for youth from birth to 21 in Nemours-Delaware primary care clinics</p> <p>Participate in Psychology team meetings and support family engagement in research activities</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <p>Master's degree from an accredited clinical, counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy program</p> <p>Independent licensure or immediately license eligible in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland (LPCMH, LCSW, LMFT)</p> <p>Experience working with young children and their caregivers</p> <p>Experience implementing behavioral parent training interventions (e.g., PCIT) and motivational interviewing</p> <p>Experience in primary care, pediatric, or child-focused settings</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>Experience with digital health interventions or app-based coaching</p> <p>Spanish-speaking proficiency</p> <p>APPLICATION: Please send letter of interest and CV to WLMBH-DMRecruitment@Nemours.org and please state "Behavioral Health Therapist - FCU Navigator" in the subject line.
