Our recruiters look forward to speaking with you about your background, skills, and compensation requirements.</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8a-4:30p</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Trailer Mechanic performs thorough inspections and related repairs on equipment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventative maintenance inspections to comply with DOT regulations </li><li>Properly diagnose and repair trailer fleet. </li><li>Repair trailer damage </li><li>Complete all necessary tags and work orders </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe work environment </li><li>Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license required </li><li>Minimum 18 months mechanical related experience in the Transportation, heavy equipment, Agriculture, or Automotive Industry. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and understand repair manuals. </li><li>Ability to complete repair orders </li><li>Ability to routinely lift, push and/or pull up to 80 lbs. </li><li>Ability to climb ladders and work outdoors </li><li>Demonstrated, proven customer service skills </li><li>Must have solid judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills </li><li>Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision. </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. </li></ul> <p>Saddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity employer and an Affirmative Action employer, as required by law.
