<p>WHO WE ARE:</p> <p>State of Franklin Healthcare Associates is a physician-led and team member owned multi-specialty care group headquartered in Johnson City, TN with locations in the upper East Tennessee & Southwest Virginia region. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients and our team members.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Utilize the practice management system. </li><li>Utilize the Electronic Medical Records (EMR). </li><li>Assist/Educate physician and staff on how to enter and retrieve information. </li><li>Establish procedures for referrals to other providers. </li><li>Develop/Implement short and long-term work plans and objectives. </li><li>Interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and develop assigned staff. </li><li>Coordinate with HR and payroll about any individual or group data changes. </li><li>Review and approve or deny payroll and leave requests. </li><li>Maintain daily clinic activities: manage scheduling, obtaining patient demographics and insurance information, pre-certification with insurance carriers, patient education, case management, accounts receivable, claims, resolution, and problem accounts. </li><li>Manage expenses to operating budget. </li><li>Review, approve, and process accounts payable. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration </li><li>Equivalent work experience may substitute for education requirement* </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>At least three years of previous administrative/management experience in a medical practice, including experience with billing/collections, practice management systems and electronic medical records.</p> <ul> <li>Experience in practice area is desirable but not required* </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Medical practice management certification or other applicable credentials are desirable but not required. </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE OFFER:</p> <p>State of Franklin Healthcare provides a comprehensive and competitive total compensation package designed to meet the needs of our full-time team members to include:</p> <ul> <li>Company Provided Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance </li><li>Company Provided Long Term Disability Insurance </li><li>Employee Stock Ownership Plan </li><li>401(k) Company Contributions </li><li>Voluntary options for Medical, Dental, Vision, and additional Life Insurance. </li><li>Company match in Health Savings Account Plans (restrictions apply) </li><li>Vacation, Personal, Sick and Holiday Time Off </li><li>An array of team member perks and discounts </li><li>Tuition Assistance Programs </li><li>And more! </li></ul>
