<p>Are you the kind of person who has to know how things work? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, fine-tuning, and making equipment perform at its absolute best? If testing, tinkering, and solving real-world mechanical challenges sounds like your kind of day - we'd love to meet you.</p> <p>We're looking for an Engineering Test Technician who's ready to roll up their sleeves, power up the equipment, and help us ensure every machine performs like it should.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>You'll be at the heart of our testing operations - making sure our equipment meets performance expectations and exceeds customer standards.</p> <ul> <li>Test equipment to meet required performance parameters </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair test equipment to deliver quality customer service </li><li>Build prototype units or modify equipment to improve performance </li><li>Procure components needed for prototype builds or upgrades </li><li>Maintain operational knowledge of machines and department processes </li><li>Document all testing and customer correspondence </li><li>Provide technical assistance and training (internally and externally) </li><li>Participate in departmental meetings and continuous improvement efforts </li><li>Back up PC files weekly and stay current with software updates </li><li>Support OSHA and environmental compliance initiatives </li><li>Promote a friendly, service-oriented approach across teams and customers </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned (because no two days are ever the same!) </li></ul> <p>What You Bring to the Table</p> <p>We're looking for someone who's mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing hands-on work with documentation and communication.</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required (Technical school or related experience preferred) </li><li>Familiarity with modern test methods and equipment </li><li>Knowledge of machine tools, jigs, fixtures, and cutting tools </li><li>Operational knowledge of machines, mechanisms, hydraulic, and control systems preferred </li><li>Construction equipment operating experience is a plus </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and sketches </li><li>Intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel </li><li>Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <ul> <li>You enjoy diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions </li><li>You're organized and understand the importance of documentation </li><li>You're comfortable working independently but thrive in a team environment </li><li>You believe in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace </li><li>You're always learning and staying current with technology </li></ul> <p>Why This Role Matters</p> <p>Everything we build depends on reliable performance.
