This position requires exceptional professionalism, strong situational awareness, and the ability to represent both the security provider and the luxury brand with discretion and confidence.</p> <p>Please note: This position operates on a rotating schedule.</p> <p>Security Officers must be fully available for a schedule that changes from week to week, including different shifts, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.</p> <p>Security Officers in high-end retail settings play a dual role: safeguarding valuable merchandise and assets, while enhancing the client experience through calm, courteous, and service-oriented conduct.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a visible yet discreet security presence on the sales floor, greeting clients and employees with professionalism and courtesy. </li><li>Monitor entrances, exits, and key access points to deter theft, unauthorized entry, or disorderly conduct. </li><li>Conduct regular patrols of the sales floor, fitting rooms, storage areas, and perimeter zones. </li><li>Quickly assess and respond to suspicious behavior, emergencies, or safety concerns, following proper escalation protocols. </li><li>Support store operations, including opening and closing procedures, alarm testing, and escorting valuables or deliveries. </li><li>Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident and daily activity reports. </li><li>Communicate effectively with store management, law enforcement, and security teams. </li><li>Promote a secure and welcoming shopping environment that aligns with the prestige of the luxury brand. </li><li>Represent the employer's image and the client's brand values with discretion, tact, and integrity at all times. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Valid New York State Security Guard License. </li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a security officer in a post assignment. </li><li>Outstanding professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to remain composed and observant in fast-paced or high-pressure situations. </li><li>Availability for a rotating schedule, including varying shift times, evenings, weekends, and holidays. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>High-end or luxury retail experience (e.g., designer boutiques, flagship stores, or premium department stores). </li><li>Prior security or loss prevention experience in retail, hospitality, or corporate environments. </li></ul> <p>#IND2</p> <p>NY #110000478904</p> <p>Education Requirements (All)</p> <p>GED or H.S.
