<p>Position Summary</p> <p>As a PCT-A you will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Implementing Individualized Treatment Plans. </li><li>Monitoring and observing patient conditions. </li><li>Maintaining patient records. </li><li>Maintaining the safety of the personnel and patients. </li><li>Maintaining a clean and safe environment. </li><li>Participating as a team member in patient treatment planning. </li><li>Assisting with orientating new patients and staff. </li><li>Utilizing Crisis Prevention and Management (CPM) techniques when verbal or physical intervention is required to protect patient from injury to self, others, or the destruction of property. </li></ul> <p>Ongoing training/education related to patient care will be provided.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Pay is $36.35 per hour.</p> <ul> <li>Night differential is an additional $0.80/hour and weekend differential is an additional $.80/hour. </li><li>These positions are in pay schedule and range 05/32. </li></ul> <p>Job Details</p> <p>All applicants who may be appointed will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled. In addition, individuals need to have the ability to perform complex motor skills and use specialized equipment. Prior to beginning employment, candidates must pass a pre-employment health assessment and pre-employment physical ability and agility screening which could include tasks such as running, lifting, and kneeling.</p> <p>All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by the facility or medical personnel directed by the facility prior to their start date.</p> <p>DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire. DHS is not an E-Verify employer nor a STEM-OPT eligible employer.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Active or eligible for Wisconsin (WI) CNA licensure. </li><li>Eligible means currently in a program/class to obtain WI CNA certification OR currently holding an active CNA certification in good standing from another state and able to transfer CNA certification to WI via reciprocity. WI CNA certification must be obtained by the start of employment. </li><li>Must be a Wisconsin resident. </li><li>Ability to commit to an initial full time 3-week training program (40 hours/week from 6:30 am - 3:00 pm). </li><li>Ability to work every other weekend (Saturday-Sunday) and available to be scheduled for three additional weekday shifts (Monday-Friday) on any day within a 2-week pay period. </li></ul> <p>Well-qualified applicants will also have the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with mental health patients. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Applying is easy!
