<p>MECHANIC HELPER</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Full Time / Part Time: Full Time</p> <p>FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Business Unit: Poly and Containment</p> <p>Reports to: Operations Manager</p> <p>Travel Requirement: Yes</p> <p>Top Tier Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, vision, coverage in addition to life and disability insurance plans. </li><li>Paid Vacation Days and Paid Holidays. </li><li>Retirement and Savings (401K) Plan with Company match. </li><li>Annual uniform allowance. </li><li>Referral bonus with no cap on amount of referrals. </li><li>Paid Training. </li></ul> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Select Water Solutions' Mechanic Helper will help mechanic perform maintenance and repairs such as tune-ups and oil changes, checks tires and brakes, replaces spark plugs and engages in other similar tasks.</p> <p>The essential job functions include, but are not limited to</p> <ul> <li>Assists mechanic with electrical systems such as replacing batteries, starters, and lights. </li><li>Preventative Maintenance on light duty trucks. </li><li>Oil Changes. </li><li>Trailer light repairs. </li><li>Test drives vehicles to ensure repairs are completed property. </li><li>Cleans the shop and returns tools to proper location. </li><li>Maintains inventory of replacement parts and equipment. </li><li>Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order. </li><li>Updates maintenance and repair logs for vehicles. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Other duties</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
