In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting in order processing. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of inventory in forward pick locations, supporting the overall order fulfillment process, and resolving inventory-related issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Full time onsite role based out of our Charlestown, Indiana location</p> <p>Must be available to work the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm ET.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Cycle count plan creation and review of results and escalating where appropriate based on tolerances, client expectations, activity and adherence to SOP's </li><li>Product and Pick Module maintenance including forward positioning of stock, transfer work, location assignment, capacity setup, & zoning </li><li>Monitor stock rotation practices to ensure products are being utilized in the appropriate order (FEFO, FIFO) </li><li>Comprehending units of measure </li><li>Investigation & resolution of inventory discrepancies </li><li>Provide regular reports to the Inventory Supervisor or Manager on inventory discrepancies and actions taken </li><li>Adjustments and multi-step changes to inventory attributes within the system </li><li>Processing inventory status changes </li><li>Knowledge of the business rules, demands, and expectations of clients </li><li>Daily communication with client representatives via emails, phone calls, and virtual meetings </li><li>Effective and discreet (written and oral) communication with multiple departments </li><li>Troubleshooting wave issues </li><li>Order processing/order entry </li><li>Order intercept/cancel requests </li></ul> <p>The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Education/Training: High School Diploma</p> <p>Business Experience: One year of experience in Inventory Control, preferably in a Distribution environment.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to analyze WMS processes </li><li>Ability to extrapolate information from WMS </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Use of warehouse equipment, such as order pickers or pallet jacks, may be required (training provided) </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel </li><li>Computer knowledge </li><li>Experience with a WMS (will use multiple) </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Location of job activities 100% inside. </li><li>Close vision is required for visual inspection of products for quality, such as checking for proper seal, adhesive, tears, or printing accuracy. </li><li>Noise and / or vibrations exposure </li><li>Reaching (overhead), handling, and feeling </li><li>Stand, bend, stoop, and sit for prolonged periods of time </li><li>Lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds </li><li>Push/pull up 50 pounds </li><li>Sufficient to operate standard office equipment </li><li>Sufficient to operate material handling equipment </li><li>Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity </li><li>Frequently required to stand or sit. </li><li>Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. </li></ul> <p>The expected base pay range for this position is $18-$20 per hour. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule.
