<p>Rusty Lantern Markets store in Providence, RI. is looking for a facility and maintenance person to carry out cleaning, maintenance, and inventory stocking duties.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, pumps, fill coolers, stock, etc.) </li><li>Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities </li><li>Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects </li><li>Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs </li><li>Make adjustments and minor repairs. </li><li>Stock and maintain supply rooms </li><li>Follow all health and safety regulations </li><li>Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Preferred working experience as a Custodian </li><li>Ability to handle related equipment and machinery </li><li>Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies </li><li>Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets </li><li>Integrity and ability to work independently </li><li>Must be able to work in hot or cold conditions as needed </li></ul> <p>Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. </li><li>Knowledge of general maintenance and repair. </li><li>Ability to use hand tools and power tools. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods standing and walking. </li><li>Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. </li></ul>
