Do you have an expert level of plumbing product knowledge??If so, then we'd like you to join our dedicated team as a Quotations Specialist.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>You will:</p> <p>Interpret complex customer requirements and offer solutions that maximize profitability and add value for the customer; negotiate pricing with manufacturers and customers.</p> <p>Create accurate and professional quotations and submittal packages from customer specifications/drawings using the applicable software systems.</p> <p>Follow up on outstanding quotations to secure orders, improve quotation process, and measure effectiveness.</p> <p>Follow up with customers to ensure orders are filled promptly; assist with project management and coordinate deliverables.</p> <p>Support the Profit Center Sales Team serving as a peer expert concerning the specifics of quotes, proposals, bid strategies, and product application.</p> <p>Investigate and resolve customer problems; address pricing deductions and material returns timely and in accordance with Company policy and procedure.</p> <p>Communicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customer's business that might cause a credit risk.</p> <p>Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.</p> <p>Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.</p> <p>About You:</p> <p>1+ years' experience creating quotes and providing customer service</p> <p>Comprehensive knowledge of products sold by the Profit Center</p> <p>Our ideal candidate will also:</p> <p>Have experience using Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain appointment and customer contact files, and to analyze performance data.</p> <p>Possess outstanding verbal and written communication, and generous listening skills.</p> <p>Be organized, a self-starter, and detail oriented.</p> <p>Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.</p> <p>Be able to collect and analyze quotations data to determine patterns of success or failure; take appropriate action to adjust processes to ensure success.</p> <p>Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to create and submit quotation packages and create orders.</p> <p>Read, write, speak, and understand English.</p> <p>Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</p>
