If you see yourself as a future Energy Dispatcher with Heritage Cooperative, apply TODAY at www.heritagecooperative.com/Careers!</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Ability to occasionally stand and/or walk for extended periods of time</p> <p>Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects no more than 50 pounds</p> <p>Ability to sit for extended periods of time</p> <p>Ability to learn the delivery areas to coordinate driver's deliveries</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing</p> <p>Ability to read maps effectively and work with map software</p> <p>Ability to provide superior customer service</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent work experience</p> <p>Familiarity with geographical service area</p> <p>Experience using computerized logistics/routing software.</p> <p>Knowledge of distribution and transportation industry</p> <p>Capable of working without supervision</p> <p>Flexibility to handle situations as they occur, still maintain adherence to company policies.</p> <p>Knowledge of MS Office</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <p>Serve as a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative's Core Values</p> <ul> <li>Provide Superior Customer Service </li><li>Highest Standards of Integrity and Trust </li><li>Continuous Improvement </li><li>Being a Good Partner </li></ul> <p>Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers</p> <p>Receive customer orders from Customer Service Representative, dispatches to driver based on district territory according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using email or telephones</p> <p>Maintain an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers and assistants.</p> <p>Receive and enters order from sales representatives or drivers into the dispatch system.</p> <p>Communicate driving directions to customer homes based on knowledge of reading maps and map software</p> <p>Advise drivers about traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards</p> <p>Improve efficiencies by adhering to and improving upon established routes and districts</p> <p>Determine where to instruct drivers to pull fuel by comparing daily inventory costs vs terminal pricing</p> <p>Assist District Managers in making sure drivers follow all DOT regulations and hours of service rules</p> <p>Develop an understanding of customers' needs and takes necessary action to ensure their needs are being met in a timely and satisfactory manner</p> <p>Report customer feedback and all customer complaints, including any sign of customer dissatisfaction, to appropriate management and/or consumer relations</p> <p>Communicate to appropriate district manager matter concerning driver performance, delivery inefficiencies and customer concerns</p> <p>Conduct monthly inventory process and ensures timely and accurate reporting of daily and end of month inventory for the assigned area and terminal</p> <p>Maintain ability to perform efficiently and follow through on all details, in a fast-paced, customer focused environment</p> <p>Provide leadership support to assigned district during absence of a district manager</p> <p>Understand and practice company safety policies and also federal, state and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.</p> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> <p>WHY HERITAGE?</p> <p>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</p> <p>Company Paid Life and AD&D Insurance</p> <p>Company Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability</p> <p>Paid Holidays, Sick, and Vacation Time</p> <p>401k with Company Match after 6 months</p> <p>Farm Bureau Membership</p> <p>Profit Sharing</p> <p>Questions?
