<p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a world-class VP of Engineering to lead, scale, and inspire our global engineering organization. This leader will be deeply technical, a software engineer by training, and will have a proven track record of building and managing distributed engineering teams that deliver enterprise-grade products at scale. Experience in financial technology - particularly in investment accounting, trading, or related domains - is highly preferred. The ideal candidate is metrics-driven, highly analytical, and passionate about operational excellence, innovation, and talent development.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leadership & Team Building</p> </li><li> <p>Build, lead, and mentor high-performing, globally distributed engineering teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Strategy & Execution</p> </li><li> <p>Translate the company's technical vision into actionable engineering strategies and roadmaps.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure products for a global client base.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee architectural decisions, technical standards, and best practices across all engineering teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Leverage expertise in financial technology and investment management to ensure our solutions meet the complex needs of institutional investors.</p> </li><li> <p>Operational Excellence</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and monitor key engineering metrics (velocity, quality, uptime, cost, etc.) to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement and optimize engineering processes, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, QA, and DevOps practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with Product, Design, Client Success, and other departments to align engineering efforts with business objectives and client needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Support go-to-market initiatives and client engagements as a technical leader.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with industry experts and clients to stay ahead of trends and regulatory requirements in investment management.</p> </li><li> <p>Innovation & Continuous Improvement</p> </li><li> <p>Champion the adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes to drive innovation and efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the engineering organization remains ahead of industry trends and best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Risk & Compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all products and engineering practices comply with relevant regulatory, security, and quality standards, particularly those impacting financial technology and investment management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. </li><li>10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including 5+ years managing large, globally distributed teams. </li><li>Significant experience in financial technology, with a strong preference for backgrounds in investment management, trading platforms, or related fintech domains. </li><li>Demonstrated success building and scaling enterprise SaaS products on a global scale. </li><li>Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience as an engineer. </li><li>Strong analytical and metrics orientation; proven ability to set, track, and deliver on KPIs. </li><li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. </li><li>Experience with agile development, CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering best practices. </li><li>Proven ability to drive change, foster innovation, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. </li></ul>
