<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and execute advanced motor test plans, including durability, performance, and failure analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Design and maintain specialized test fixtures and motor dynamometer setups.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze test data using statistical methods; prepare detailed reports and recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead root cause analysis for motor-related failures and propose corrective actions.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot and lead corrective action for test measurement issues and fixture setup issues</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with engineering teams on motor design improvements and testing strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the development of lab test procedures and work instructions</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure calibration and maintenance of motor test equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain stock of disposable lab supplies and safety equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the organization and layout of the lab.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor and train junior technicians on motor testing procedures and best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive continuous improvement initiatives in motor testing processes and documentation.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field.</p> </li><li> <p>3-5 years of experience in motor testing or related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with dynamometers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of BLDC, PMDC, and universal motor theory and operation.</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in soldering and assembly of motors and electronic components.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with motor controls, lithium battery technology, vibration, and sound analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>High proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with LabVIEW, CAD, or programming languages (Visual Basic, C).</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis and reporting.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>Robust health, dental and vision insurance plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Generous 401(K) savings plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Education assistance.</p> </li><li> <p>On-site wellness, fitness center, food, and coffee service.</p> </li><li> <p>And many more, check out our benefits site HERE.</p> </li></ul> <p>Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.</p>
