This is an "open" contract engineering position with an industry leading OEM.</p> <p>\n <\/div>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <p>\n <\/div>\n</p> <p>\n This position requires the engineer to be a US citizen or permanent resident.<\/b></p> <p>\n <\/div>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <p>\n <\/div>\n</p> <p>\n You'll be working under more senior automotive engineers performing the following:</p> <p>\n <\/div>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <p>\n <\/div>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Plan and setup of HILS test environments for various ground vehicle body electronics systems. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Create and manage validation plan and test results with HILS system measurements, and constantly seek ways to improve simulation and test quality. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Interpret electrical schematics and select\/configure appropriate HILS I\/O. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Perform some wiring harness fabrication and assist in the debugging of wiring harnesses. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Analyze design and\/or requirements specifications and authoring test specifications to validate them. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Author robust test scripts using dSPACE Test Automation Framework and dSPACE AutomationDesk software. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Create models in Matlab\/Simulink to support HILS test and\/or generate test stimulus data. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Analyzing test results and troubleshooting\/debugging HILS system using dSPACE ControlDesk software, Vector CAN, oscilloscope, etc. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Manage libraries of test cases, models, and requirements across multiple variations of ECUs and vehicle platforms. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n</p> <ul> <li>Create and maintain a knowledge database of test systems, procedures, and best practices. </li></ul> <p><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <p>\n <\/div><\/span></p> <p>Requirements<\/h3>Education<\/h4>\n \n A 4-year engineering degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics (or very similar) fields</p> <p><\/li>\n <\/ul>Required Skills<\/h4>\n \n Ability to develop and implement HILS-based vehicle validation plans<\/li>\n Proficient in logic-based control software simulation such as MATLAB\/Simulink</p> <p><\/li>\n Able to use dSPACE ControlDesk instruments to trace signals through a Simulink model in order to debug the HILS system.</p> <p><\/li>\n Sound understanding of general vehicle systems<\/li>\n Excellent verbal and oral communication skills (English).
