<p>The Purpose </p> <p>Sustain teaching performance at appropriate levels to include course loads, instructional technology, instructional materials, and innovative communication delivery in the Cosmetology and Cosmetic Arts related disciplines.</p> <p>Instructional Hours:  Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM. What You'll be Doing </p> <ul> <li>Maintain accreditation and  credentials to teach in specific subject areas: </li><li>Perform record-keeping function in the areas of attendance, student performance in an accurate and timely manner. </li><li>Cosmetology and Cosmetic Arts related fields.   </li><li>Demonstrated teaching skills. </li><li>Demonstrated skills in Manicuring/ Nail Technology. </li><li>Insure compliance and confidentiality with all policies and procedures of the College, NC Community College System, and applicable State and Federal agencies. </li></ul> <p>Additionally   </p> <ul> <li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Education:    </li></ul> <p>Requires a minimum manicuring / nail technology instructor certification, OR cosmetologist instructor certification. Associate's degree in Cosmetology preferred.</p> <p>Currently holds a North Carolina State Board Cosmetologist License and/ or Manicurist License. </p> <p>Experience </p> <p>All applicants must provide verifiable and relevant professional experience in a workplace setting or demonstrated instructional/teaching environment. </p> <p>Skills and the Know-How   </p> <p>Current knowledge in the field.  Possess strong personal and professional integrity, effective verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
