All applicants will receive consideration regardless of membership in any protected status as defined by applicable state or federal law, including protected veteran or disability status.</p> <p>The DME Respiratory Equipment Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Cleans, disinfects, assembles, and maintains durable medical equipment and respiratory care equipment. </li><li>Sets up patient and instructs on proper and safe use of medical equipment and supplies as well as physician prescription.* Assists in organization and management of supply rooms. </li><li>Assists in maintaining inventory of equipment needs for the branch, including ordering from vendor and entering into inventory system. </li><li>Performs data entry, answers telephone and directs calls to appropriate staff. </li><li>Answers questions for patients and referral sources regarding insurance criteria and replenishment processes. </li><li>Assists in processing RMA for equipment failures. </li><li>Routinely fills CPAP resupply orders </li><li>Responsible for accreditation tasks as assigned </li><li>Follows all federal, state, local and regulatory guidelines </li></ul> <p>The DME Respiratory Tech reports to the Branch manager.</p> <p>This job may require the incumbents to operate a INTEGRIS owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS owned) and therefore must have a current State Driver's License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier.</p> <ul> <li>Preferred 2 years experience with Durable Medical Equipment </li><li>Preferred 2 years experience with Medicare and other insurance carriers as it pertains to Durable Medical Equipment </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills </li></ul>
