<p>JobID: 210740971</p> <p>Category: Software Engineering</p> <p>JobSchedule: Full time</p> <p>Posted Date: 2026-05-05T16:30:40+00:00</p> <p>JobShift:</p> <p>Base Pay/Salary: New York,NY $152,000.00-$215,000.00</p> <p>Be an integral part of an agile team that's constantly pushing the envelope to enhance, build, and deliver top-notch technology products.</p> <p>As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the CONSUMER & COMMUNITY BANKING in the Fraud Technology team, you will be leading talented individuals to build NextGen orchestration platform using advanced AI capabilities in Java & AWS.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems </li><li>Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development </li><li>Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems </li><li>Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture </li><li>Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies </li><li></li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience in software development </li><li>8+ years of experience designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining applications in a large corporate environment. </li><li>Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability </li><li>Hands-on experience building AI Agents and leveraging AI Powered tools, RAG pipelines and LLM API's. </li><li>Proficient in coding in one or more programming language(s): Java </li><li>Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) </li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot </li><li>Experience designing and implementing REST APIs </li><li>Strong AWS experience, including ECS and Lambda </li><li>Strong AWS networking and core services knowledge (ALB, NLB, GWLB; VPC, subnets, security groups, IAM, CloudWatch) </li><li>Good understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security for internet-facing APIs (OAuth 2.0/OIDC, JWT, TLS/mTLS, rate limiting). </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with middleware technologies </li><li>Hands on AWS Services experience with ECS, Lambda Aurora Postgres </li><li>Exposure to cloud technologies </li><li>Cloud Certification </li><li>Anthropic Claude Code experience </li></ul>
