<p>Job Description</p> <p>Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is looking for a Lab Support Technician to support our lab team.</p> <p>This position is a PRN position and works as needed.</p> <p>The Work :</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collects patient specimens in accordance with laboratory's policy, procedures and regulatory standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Correlates patient samples to provider laboratory test orders in the LIS/EMR.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs and reports Point of Care laboratory testing as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Uses education and experience to identify and resolve patient circumstances that might interfere with accurate sample collection.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates effectively with nursing and unit staff to relay information concerning patient collections.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Applicable Experience:</p> <p>Less than 1 year</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>PRN</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>The best place to get care.
