<p>As a university safety analytics manager, you will provide prompt, accurate, and relevant analyses of crime patterns, series, and trends to assist in deploying university resources. You will access data from various software platforms and databases to prepare reports that aid investigations or threat assessments. You will prepare and present comprehensive reports to management and stakeholders regarding team activities, analytical findings, and risk management efforts for use in internal investigations and potential legal proceedings. You will also maintain relationships with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies to support investigations and ensure information sharing.</p> <p>The successful candidate is a motivated, independent worker and a detail-oriented critical thinker. They must possess impeccable planning, organization, and decision-making skills, which, combined with their knowledge of crime and threat analysis approaches, practices, and processes, will aid in strategy development. The candidate can identify information gaps and data sources to track and document trends, patterns of intelligence activities, and insider threats. They should also demonstrate an ability to multitask, collect, process, analyze, and disseminate actionable intelligence to University Safety operations.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in political science, criminology, mathematics, statistics, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or a related field OR at least four years cumulative on-the-job experience in crime analytics and response management </li><li>Experience with ArcGIS, Analyst Notebook, Tiburon RMS, CAD, Crystal Reports, open-source resources, camera viewing, and video editing software </li><li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>At least two years of experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting police data and writing reports </li></ul> <p>Certificates, licenses, and registrations:</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>Travel required:</p> <ul> <li>10-20% </li></ul> <p>Work Hours:?The university work week is Sunday through Saturday.
