We Improve.</p> <p>Posting Summary</p> <p>Rutgers University Correctional Health Care (UCHC) is seeking a Mental Health Clinician II for the Southwoods State Prison, located in Bridgeton, NJ. The Mental Health Clinician II completes specialized psychological testing and assessment of clinical needs of adult inmates sentenced to the Department of Corrections.</p> <p>Duties include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Plays a lead role for assigned key services or projects</p> </li><li> <p>Champions the utilization of evidence-based and preferred practices by developing own skills, mentoring others, and providing case consultation, as observed by supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Under supervision, plays a lead role in developing and delivering targeted clinical services to meet the needs of designated populations, as observed by supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts psychological testing and evaluations of referred adult inmates/patients from ages 18 and up.</p> </li><li> <p>As assigned, conducts intellectual and personality testing, mental status exams, and/or suicide assessments,</p> </li><li> <p>and/or developmental assessments, and/or sex offender specific assessments and/or other related evaluations to assess risk of dangerous behavior toward self and/or others</p> </li><li> <p>As assigned, provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy as clinically indicated to assigned inmates/patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides therapy with empathy and concern for the inmates/patients as indicated by supervisory observation</p> </li><li> <p>As assigned, assumes overall case management responsibilities for assigned inmates/patients including coordination f treatment and liaison with community agencies as measured by supervisory observation and record review.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week 37.50 Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement</p> <p>This position requires a full onsite work arrangement.</p> <p>FLSA Exempt Grade 25S Position Salary Annual Minimum Salary 75848.00 Annual Mid Range Salary 91792.00 Annual Maximum Salary 107729.00 Standard Hours 37.50 Union Description CWA 1040 Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Benefits</p> <p>Rutgers offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
