<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare menu items according to Johnny Carino's recipes, plate presentations and specifications within cook time requirements </li><li>Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by Guest and prepare and cook food according to instructions </li><li>Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, and dishwashers </li><li>Complete all assigned prep work </li><li>Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times </li><li>Set up work station </li><li>Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects </li><li>Be a core team member in a fast-paced kitchen </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age </li><li>Previous Line Cook or cooking experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds in weight </li><li>Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves </li><li>Mobility required during the entire shift </li><li>Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length </li></ul> <p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
