<p>Standard Monday - Friday Office Hours!!!</p> <p>Purpose of Position:</p> <p>Provides behavior analysis services to clients in the form of assessment, consultation, and counseling. Addresses both behavior and skill deficits, as well as behaviors that place the person or others at risk. Develops Individual Treatment Plans and educates care providers on its implementation. Monitors the effects of the plan on client's behavior and makes modifications as needed. Maintains quality of services and ensures services are provided in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.</p> <p>Essential Duties/Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop Individual Treatment Plans</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Conducts functional behavioral assessments. <p></p> </li><li> <p>Provides instruction and consultation to professionals, caregivers, guardians, families and others regarding Applied Behavior Analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides instruction regarding monitoring, data collection and client's progress.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents the results of the functional behavioral assessment, response to treatment and changes in Individual Treatment Plans.</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Maintains Behavioral Contact Notes and other documentation regarding client contact as needed. <p></p> </li><li> <p>Attend clinical meetings, staff meetings, or other meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Primarily works with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities but occasionally may work with children.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides consultation to Human Rights Committee as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains Board Certification in good standing.</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Provides assistance to develop policy and procedures regarding Applied Behavior Analysis. <p></p> </li><li> <p>Remains knowledgeable on current developments and trends in Applied Behavior Analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Under the direction of the program leadership, contributes to the financial viability of the program.</p> </li><li> <p>Works in collaboration with other Imagine! programs and services.</p> </li><li> <p>This position requires the use of a personal vehicle with insurance that meets Imagine! standards.</p> </li><li> <p>This position requires the use of a personal mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:</p> <ul> <li>General knowledge of the developmental disabilities system in Colorado. </li><li>Solid knowledge of the principles and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis. This includes general behavioral assessment and Ethical Standards in Behavior Analysis. </li><li>Solid knowledge of the behavioral impact of developmental disabilities, as well as the cognitive, educational, vocational and social challenges encountered by persons with developmental disabilities. </li><li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others. </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels. </li><li>Effective and creative negotiator and problem solver. </li><li>Ability to work effectively with various technology including word processing software, internet-based databases, etc. </li><li>Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to meet Imagine! driving requirements. </li></ul> <p>Training/Education:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree required. </li><li>Current certification by the BACB as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst required. </li><li>BACB qualified to supervise future BCBA candidates preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Two years of directly supervised experience developing and implementing Individual Treatment Plans using ABA approach. </li></ul> <p>Working Environment/Physical Activities</p> <ul> <li>Regular travel to various locations in the Front Range. </li><li>Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment based on the client needs. </li><li>Primarily works with individuals in their homes, community or day programs, otherwise office based. </li><li>Sound levels are generally minimal, with occasional to rare periods of louder noise (e.g., client sound level fluctuation). </li><li>Regular sitting, standing, bending, and repetitive movements are inherent to the job. </li><li>Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 30 pounds occasionally. This may include files, client supplies, or equipment. </li><li>Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse, requiring repetitive hand and wrist movements. </li><li>Occasional standing, walking, and bending may be required for tasks such as attending to client needs. </li></ul> <p>Note: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.</p>
