Category Customer Service Description</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>As a Customer Success Representative, you serve as a primary point of contact for KMC Controls' customers, ensuring satisfaction through proactive communication, order management, and problem resolution. This role supports the Customer Success, Technical Support, Training, Sales, Production, and Shipping departments by managing inquiries, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining a positive, professional customer experience from order placement through post-sale support.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Manage customer orders from entry through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. </li><li>Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or CRM system. </li><li>Provide product information, pricing, and order status updates. </li><li>Collaborate with production, shipping, and technical support teams to resolve customer issues. </li><li>Document and track customer interactions in the company's CRM system. </li><li>Monitor account activity and identify opportunities for improved customer experience or process efficiency. </li><li>Support sales initiatives by assisting with quotes, returns, and product availability checks. </li><li>Maintain an up-to-date understanding of KMC Controls products, systems, and services. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>A High School diploma or GED along with a minimum of 2-years' experience in either a Customer Service or Account Management field. </li><li>Associate degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or account support-preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment. </li><li>Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems preferred. </li></ul> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS</p> <p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and part aid prints. Ability to enter production using Epicor MES. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one discussion with supervisor and Co-workers</p> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</p> <p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.</p> <p>REASONING ABILITY</p> <p>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</p> <p>COMPUTER SKILLS</p> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
