<p>Description</p> <p>Do you like being in an outdoor setting? Engaging with adults and children alike? Enjoy nature and all it has to offer? Montgomery County Parks, Enterprise Division, is currently seekingenergetic, fun, and organized seasonal/intermittent applicants to fill our exciting positions at the Little Bennett Campground. The campground is open year-round. Activities and amenities are provided to customers March through November. Work hours are flexible to include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as noted below.</p> <p>Examples of Important Duties</p> <p>Campground Attendant - Reservations/Cashier(Starting @ $15.45/hr)</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and by email </li><li>Process campsite reservations and collect rental fees </li><li>Check in guests by answering the gate, confirming reservations, and providing check-in materials </li><li>Handle camper requests, concerns, or issues when possible, and escalate to the appropriate staff when needed </li><li>Sell merchandise and handle cash and card transactions in the camp store </li><li>Keep the store stocked, organized, and welcoming </li><li>Share information about campground activities, amenities, and policies </li><li>Multitask in a fast-paced setting on weekends and during peak times </li><li>Assist with cleaning, decorating, and occasional campground programs </li></ul> <p>Additional on-site training will be provided. Pay rate is based on experience and qualifications.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>(Positions are required for March through November)</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum age of 18. </li><li>Varied hours from weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. </li><li>Knowledge of fundamental computer skills required. </li><li>Cash handling experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine interest in helping people </li><li>Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment </li><li>A proactive mindset-willing to take initiative during slower times </li><li>Able to stand for long periods of time </li></ul> <p>Supplemental Information</p> <p>These positions are seasonal (part-time) and do not include benefits. Hourly wages are based on experience and qualifications.</p> <p>All selected candidates must display excellent customer service skills, attain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (training classes available) and attend in-house orientation.
