Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. </li><li>In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as; time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Serves as a liaison between juvenile court, central administration and schools; attends juvenile courts, as required and supports various dockets related to juvenile court for Denver Public Schools' students.; assists school personnel in ensuring ordered supports are put in place to ensure students have an optimal chance of educational success </li><li>Sets strong and measurable individual goals aligned to team and department priorities; makes transactional decisions, seek clarity and direction to ensure decisions have desired impact </li><li>Demonstrates district shared core values; responds appropriately to feedback and coaching and adapts to change appropriately </li><li>Promotes growth of others by showing knowledge and expertise; manages conflict in a way that honors shared values and perspectives of others </li><li>Contributes to meaningful conversations around equity and barriers to success for all students </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required; </li><li>Master's Degree preferred </li><li>One (1) more years of relevant experience </li><li>Effective communication skills </li><li>Work collaboratively with others on a team </li><li>High degree of integrity in handling confidential information </li><li>Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multicultural environment with district and school leaders, faculty, staff and students </li><li>Aptitude for variety and changing expectations and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment </li><li>The ability to take responsibility for one's own performance </li><li>Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines </li><li>Effective time management and organizational skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Google Suite, and Outlook </li><li>Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. </li><li>Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. </li><li>Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. </li></ul> <p>Denver Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender expression, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other status protected by law or regulations.
