Reporting to Arden Building Companies' CFO with a matrixed reporting to the MJ Daly President, the ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry. This individual will coordinate payables/receivables/payroll and be responsible for business planning and forecasting, financial reporting, and performance measurement under the direction of the CFO. The candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills as well as demonstrated success in directing department activities and developing future talent within the department.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manages a team of accounts payable, receivable and payroll professionals </li><li>Processes the bi-weekly office payroll </li><li>Works with CFO to prepare and monitor annual budgets and other financial planning and reporting </li><li>Manages month-end and year-end close </li><li>May manage other special projects under the direction of President, CEO and CFO </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Seven (7) years' experience in accounting/finance, with at least two (2) years' experience at the management level, leading a department </li><li>Bachelors' degree in finance, accounting or other related field required.
