<p>The Program Coordinator II will:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate activities and daily operations of a program. Assist in the development of new or revision of program goals and objectives. </li><li>Confer with and advise staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals; refer to appropriate department person when unable to respond. </li><li>Prepare periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies. </li><li>Evaluate program effectiveness to develop improved methods. </li><li>Review applications or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program. </li><li>Assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts. Coordinate the on-boarding for new staff, postdocs, associated personnel, and students. </li><li>Track and approve employee timesheets. </li><li>Coordinate with Office of Immigration Services for the preparation and submission of visa positions. Monitor current employees for compliance with visa requirements and submits updates in status as needed </li><li>Plan workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinate logistics, scheduling and participant communications. Create and propose meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and track next steps to ensure action items are addressed. </li><li>Interact and maintain liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives. </li><li>Coordinate the program's social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Maintain and update the program website Assist with written communication and promotional literature, triaging emails, and drafting and proofreading communications </li></ul> <p>To qualify you should have:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>2 years of relevant experience </li><li>Organizational skills to effectively organize workload, manage time and resources and schedule and prioritize projects. </li><li>Independent thinking skills to provide persistence and determination in the execution of the position requirements. </li></ul> <p>Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits, including affordable health, vision and dental insurance, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
