<p>We are hiring a Temporary Electro-Mechanical Prototype Technician to support a critical engineering prototype development project. With access to continuous learning, mentorship, and global projects, your expertise will drive meaningful change.</p> <p>Req.#823092656</p> <p>#LI-DNI</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Build and test cables and cable harnesses using specialized tools and equipment </li><li>Construct and validate functional prototypes and fixtures for engineering projects </li><li>Perform troubleshooting, testing, and visual inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies </li><li>Assist engineering teams with documentation tasks including redlining assembly documents </li><li>Track prototype assemblies through development and testing phases </li><li>Support engineering teams by providing technical expertise during prototype build activities </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Comfortable with working a short-term contract between 4-6 weeks </li><li>Available to start ASAP and work full time through the end of July </li><li>Experience with cable and connector assembly using manual crimp tools and soldering techniques </li><li>Proficiency in surface mount soldering, including fine pitch and no-lead rework using reflow </li><li>Working knowledge of technical software including Visio, SolidWorks, Altium, and Microsoft Office </li><li>Demonstrated ability to create clear assembly instructions and perform detailed inspections </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a curious mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies </li></ul> <p>We offer</p> <ul> <li>Health benefits: High Deductible Health Plan with an attached HSA (Health Savings Account) which includes Pharmacy coverage, after 60 days from start of employment </li><li>Condition Management resources </li><li>Family Planning resources </li><li>Dental Plan </li><li>Vision Plan </li></ul> <p>EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
