<p>Holy Family Catholic School is in search of a full-time 3rd grade teacher. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional certification (or eligible to be certified) in elementary education and uphold the mission of Holy Family Catholic School.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university with an emphasis in science. </li><li>Knowledge of 21st-century learning, understanding, and application. </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of content standards and effective instructional strategies. </li><li>Highly effective communication, listening, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <p>In addition to the tasks outlined above, it is the responsibility of the teacher to:</p> <ul> <li>Understand and support Holy Family Catholic Schools mission of educating the whole child, mind, body, and soul. </li><li>Contribute to a harmonious school atmosphere by working cooperatively with all colleagues. </li><li>Respect the confidentiality of private information relating to students, colleagues, and the operations of the school. </li><li>Demonstrate responsibility and punctuality. </li><li>Display flexibility in responding to new situations and expectations, a positive attitude, and a helpful, nonjudgmental demeanor. </li><li>Show a willingness to consider and implement suggestions for improvement. </li><li>Be a Catholic role model for the student of HFCS. </li></ul> <p>Candidates must complete the diocesan application process and successfully complete a Level II background screening and mandated training.
