This role will also collaborate and work closely under the moderate direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Understanding the general aspects of the job and a high sense of urgency is required.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Skills in Inventory Management</p> </li><li> <p>Moving Parts between locations</p> </li><li> <p>Creating transport tasks accurately amongst the three warehouses</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining inventory counts</p> </li><li> <p>Trouble shooting inventory issues/Kanban</p> </li><li> <p>Move serialized parts accurately</p> </li><li> <p>Send parts properly marked to the other two warehouses</p> </li><li> <p>Packing parts orders in a way that the inventory will not get damaged</p> </li><li> <p>Closing parts orders</p> </li><li> <p>Print and sign Picklists</p> </li><li> <p>Add tracking to orders</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver the parts order</p> </li><li> <p>Process Work Orders</p> </li><li> <p>Pull/move inventory over to transfer parts from a work order to a parts order</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver Customer order tied to Work Order</p> </li><li> <p>Process Return Material Authorizations</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee quality of parts being packed</p> </li><li> <p>Palletize and ship large order via LTL carriers</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to lift at least 50lbs</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain proper inventory levels in the Parts Department</p> </li><li> <p>Build a small amount of subassemblies</p> </li><li> <p>Create shop orders for multistep operations</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain the shop floor workbench for the Parts Department</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and keep the backorder log updated</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and respond to emails</p> </li><li> <p>Order packaging supplies from UPS and our local suppliers</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements for Effective Performance:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>1-3 Customer Service experience </li><li>Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams etc.) </li><li>ERP system experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills/Abilities/Specifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively communicate one on one and in group settings with customers as well as other employees within the organization. </li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must have sound judgment in making non-routine choices within established guidelines with minimal supervision. </li></ul> <p>Behavioral & Environmental Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a positive work attitude. Zero Zone expects all employees to behave and communicate in a manner which will facilitate good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors. </li><li>Safety toe shoes and safety glasses are required while in production areas. </li><li>Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the office and production areas; have use of hands and fingers to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. </li></ul>
