<p>The Malcom Randall VAMC has a vacancy for a Surgical Intensive Care RN. The Surgical and Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (SICU/CTICU) at the Malcom Randall VAMC is an ICU that specializes in the post-operative care of the most complex and high-risk patients from 11 surgical sub-specialties that include Cardiothoracic, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Neurosurgery, Plastics, Eye, Vascular Surgery, GYN, and Dental.</p> <p>SICU RN Selection Criteria and Duties: The following items will be considered in SICU RN selection</p> <p>Duties include but not limited to:</p> <ol> <li>Provide nursing care to meet patient's needs </li></ol> <p>a. Continuous hemodynamic monitoring</p> <p>b. IV therapy including Vasoactive agents</p> <p>c. Airway management with various forms of invasive and non-invasive devices</p> <p>d. Management of tubes, drains, incisions, and dressings</p> <p>e.
