Some examples of subject matter the consultant will offer are business plan creation, fiscal management, obtaining financing, marketing, growth strategies, operations management, etc. The focus of this position is on the Hispanic/Latino small business community; the individual must be able to deliver services in both English and Spanish. The primary objective is to increase outreach and direct assistance that improves clients' access to capital, job creation and retention, business startups, and business growth.</p> <p>The Business Consultant is responsible for working with internal and external partners to develop an outreach strategy for the Hispanic entrepreneurial community that will build awareness of small business services, develop trust, and increase the number of Latino clients served. The business consultant must have a broad base of business knowledge, excellent research and analytical skills, be a creative thinker to assist with problem-solving, and have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
