<p>Compounding Technician Division Belmar Pharma Solutions Category Pharmaceutical Description</p> <p>The Compounding Technician is responsible for lab functions that may include formula and compounding record preparation, and compounding and labeling a variety of non-sterile compounded medications. All duties are performed efficiently and accurately under the general supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The Compounding Lab Technician demonstrates a commitment to the mission of the Pharmacy and goals of Belmar Pharma.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a working knowledge of applicable pharmacy rules and regulations </li><li>Follow all policies and procedures set forth by Belmar Pharma </li><li>Strong comprehension of USP 795 </li><li>Have a strong working knowledge of pharmacy software. </li><li>Enter new compounds into dispensing pharmacy software </li><li>Prioritize and prepare formula and compound records </li><li>Compound medications accurately and efficiently </li><li>File necessary paperwork </li><li>Perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties </li><li>Provide excellent service to internal customers on the phone and in person </li><li>Assist in initial and continuous training of staff </li><li>Pull outdated medications for destruction </li><li>Restock supplies and keep pharmacy neat and orderly </li><li>Maintain compliance with Company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned including, but not limited to: Perform inventories and ordering, assist in finding, stopping, expediting specific orders, project work </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications and Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Current CPhT Certification or ability to take CPhT examination as required by state law </li><li>Compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Preferred skills</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Additional Notes</p> <ul> <li>May work in a variety of positions and locations such as sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and walking; for prolonged periods of time </li><li>Potential exposure to chemicals used in the preparation of compounds (some chemicals are classified as toxic and special safety precautions must be taken when working with these chemicals) </li><li>Must be able to use necessary equipment such as computers, scanners, phone/headset, or other technology devices as assigned </li><li>Must be able to wear required compounding safety equipment for long periods of time when required </li></ul> <p>Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift -not applicable- User5 Position Pay Range City and State Position Non Sterile Compounding Technician Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Open Date 5/22/2025 Location Belmar Pharmacy - Colorado EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
