<p>Kforce's client, an industry leading Infrastructure Services Organization, is adding a Senior Accountant to their team. This position is hybrid in Branford, CT. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity for a Accountant as it supports M&A Integrations.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Hold meetings to understand acquired company accounting policies and processes </li><li>Analyze and resolve differences between accounting practices to meet GAAP reporting requirements </li><li>Project Manage the timeline for integration of accounting between companies </li><li>Ensure accuracy </li><li>Help train acquired teams on current parent systems and process </li><li>Document progress with updates* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field </li><li>CPA or equivalent certification is preferred </li><li>5+ years of General Ledger experience </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools) </li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all organizational levels </li><li>Demonstrated the ability to be empathetic during change management </li><li>Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and tasks </li><li>Effective problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure </li><li>Experience with ERP migrations or system implementations preferred </li><li>Previous Internal Audit experience preferred </li><li>Exposure to M&A processes preferred </li></ul>
