With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).</p> <p>A day in the life.</p> <p>As our Risk Control Consultant on the Risk Management team, you'll deliver value added risk control services to assigned commercial clients in service territory or industry vertical. You'll also assist Producers in the acquisition and retention of business.</p> <p>Accepting candidates in LA, MS, TN, GA, TX, AR and the Florida Panhandle</p> <p>Our future colleague.</p> <p>We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> </li><li> <p>Five years of experience in a risk management consulting position either in private industry or Insurance company capacity or equivalent education and related training</p> </li><li> <p>Effective verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel in assigned territory including overnight on a regular basis</p> </li><li> <p>Problem solving ability and negotiating skills working with senior level client staff</p> </li><li> <p>Above average interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a team-based environment</p> </li><li> <p>Goal and result orientated</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision</p> </li></ul> <p>These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate in Risk Management (ARM); Associate Safety Professional (ASP); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or other nationally recognized safety certification</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in multi-line coverage and target industry business groups as defined by McGriff marketing department</p> </li><li> <p>Experience using RMIS systems and databases</p> </li></ul> <p>We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
