Qualified candidates will have previous experience as an Assistant Golf Professional, thrive in a hospitality environment, and be highly focused on providing superior customer service.</p> <p>The Assistant Golf Professional is a key member of the golf operations team and will assist the Head Golf Professional in managing all aspects of the golf operation.</p> <p>Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>2-3 years golf industry experience preferred </li><li>College degree (PGM) preferred </li><li>PGA Member or Apprentice </li><li>Must have strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly </li><li>Must possess basic computer skills </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain professional appearance at all times</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the Head Golf Professional in the daily management of all golf operations, including member / guest events and tournaments</p> </li><li> <p>Provide outstanding customer service to all members and guest, ensuring a welcoming, friendly and professional environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the Head Golf Professional in the purchase of operating supplies, golf merchandise and promotional items.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote and manage the clubs golf instruction program</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in coordinating of individual, group, and tournament play as directed by the Head Golf Professional</p> </li><li> <p>Produce daily reports related to rounds, sales, etc. for management</p> </li><li> <p>Works closely with Marshall and Starter to monitor all aspects of play including starting, monitoring pace of play, safety on the course and golf course markings</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in reconciliation of daily business</p> </li><li> <p>Promote the game of golf for all members and guest</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager</p> </li></ul>
