<p>Job Summary</p> <p>This position will work as a team leader for 1-5 employees & will complete all duties of an Electronic Tech I & II. This position coordinates job site responsibilities, makes decisions and ensures proper communication to supervisors, customers, and colleagues.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>work on computer systems </li><li>read volt meters and technical writings </li><li>design, install, operate, and maintain complex systems </li><li>work with the fi re marshal to conduct fire alarms inspections </li><li>order supplies and maintain inventory records </li><li>ensure safety </li><li>prepare cost estimates on projects associated with Energy Management Systems (self-contained emergency lights, intercom systems, etc.) </li><li>assist with designs and modifications for expansion and renovation projects </li><li>prepare cost estimates </li><li>maintain technical drawings </li><li>follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction </li><li>collaborate with customers, department, and shops across the University </li></ul> <p>This individual must be available for emergency call-backs, work overtime as needed, and take on responsibilities as assigned. This position may also require some shift work.</p> <p>Skills / Knowledge / Abilities</p> <p>Installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems. Knowledge ofcircuit theories. Ability to communicate effectively with others. High attentionto detail.</p> <p>Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
