Onward and Upward!!!</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Team Leader is responsible for supervising, coaching, training and coordinating daily tasks of the NSA team to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and quality of work performed and to meet established quality and productive department standards related to production for internal and external customers. Promotes compliance within all regulatory and accreditation bodies including HIPAA.</p> <p>DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Coach, mentor, motivate, guide and direct team to ensure productivity and quality standards. Work closely with NSA staff, Seniors and Manager to meet quality requirements. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Act as a resource and participate in business user acceptance training.</p> </li><li> <p>Review reports, inventory and production to ensure effective day to day team operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, maintain and implement department policy and procedure. Monitor for compliance as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain strong working relationship with internal departments and external vendors and customers to ensure effective communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor department quality performance indicators. Reports and acts on variances. Work with Quality Assurance, CED and Manager to remedy trending concerns.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in monthly employee audits and communicate results to staff. Take action as needed to correct deficiencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Coach, motivate and mentor staff to assist with professional growth and development.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Workforce Management to plan, prepare, and revise work schedules and duty assignments by determining manpower requirements and hourly scheduling to ensure attainment of service levels, quality standards and turnaround times.</p> </li><li> <p>Track trends, initiate technology and process improvements to department Manager to eliminate issues/impediments to delivering service excellence while maintaining company/team goals per established metrics. Work with Manager to implement new procedures or system enhancements.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle escalated issues timely and effectively and follow up with all appropriate parties.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, corrective action and termination.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a resource in the absence of the Manager to ensure effective day to day team operations. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.</p> </li><li> <p>The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. The incumbent possesses and applies a range of knowledge gained through experience and knowledge or practices and procedures to complete the job responsibilities. One uses established guidelines and experience to resolve issues that may be complex and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Some independent judgment may be required to accomplish daily tasks and duties. Oversees and directs the work of team members</p> <p>COMPENSATION</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $50-55K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum Bachelor's Degree, or HS Diploma and 2 years of related leadership experience </li><li>Previous managed care or insurance background experience desirable </li><li>Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable </li><li>Communication (written, verbal, listening) telephone, employee relation, interpersonal, leadership, delegation, problem solving, analytical, data entry and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality </li><li>Ability to prioritize, multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines </li><li>Ability to travel </li><li>Ability to professionally diffuse difficult situations </li><li>Ability to use software, hardware and peripherals related to job responsibilities including MS Office Suites, Outlook, Power Point, database software, etc. </li><li>Ability to motivate, mentor, lead and direct team members </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>We realize that our employees are instrumental to our success, and we reward them accordingly with very competitive compensation and benefits packages, an incentive bonus program, as well as recognition and awards programs.
