If you applied previously, you must apply again to be considered.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Schedules inmates for testing, and coordinates materials and test site within the testing setting </li><li>Monitors examinees to ensure compliance with instructions and norms of testing administration </li><li>Scores test, converts and interprets test results </li><li>Records findings on paper and electronically </li><li>Drafts paper and electronic reports and summaries of individual and group test performance. </li><li>Counsels examinees based on test results </li><li>Determines the need for further specialized testing </li><li>Recommends individual program placements and instructional plans for examinees based upon test performances. </li><li>Meets with academic instructors to plan appropriate strategies for the students </li><li>Inventories and orders test materials </li><li>Assures testing materials and records are secured </li><li>Manages testing office </li><li>Responds to correspondence regarding the examinees with institution and public schools. </li></ul> <p>Current Teacher Certificate in area of specialization issued by the Ohio Department of Education; 12 mos. exp. in teaching &/or education administration; Education Specialist 1, 69651, must also have baccalaureate degree or less; Education Specialist 2, 69652, must also have baccalaureate degree & 20 additional quarter hrs. but less than master's degree; Education Specialist 3, 69653, must also have master's degree; Education Specialist 4, 69654, must also have master's degree & 30 hrs. of post-graduate study.</p> <ul> <li>Or Current Teacher Certificate in area of specialization issued by the Ohio Department of Education; completion of graduate core requirements in education. </li></ul> <p>Job Skills: Education, Educational support, Organizing and Planning, Interpreting Data, Emotional Intelligence and Customer Focus.</p>
