<p>Job Title: Clinical Research Laboratory Specialist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Research Laboratory Specialist to support the day-to-day research sample collection, processing, storage, and shipment across various clinical trials. This role involves collaborating with coordinators and managers to manage protocols and maintain inventory, contributing significantly to high-profile oncology research projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Participate in the day-to-day research sample collection, processing, storage, and shipment across clinical trials throughout each protocol's lifecycle, including start-up, maintenance, and closeout. </li><li>Collaborate with MDG Coordinator and/or Project Manager/Clinical Research Coordinator to review, initiate, and manage protocols requiring the collection and handling of research specimens. </li><li>Assist with maintaining inventory of study-specific materials and supplies. </li><li>Prepare lab kits for various studies. </li><li>Assist with responding to queries and communications with study sponsors. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in laboratory procedures and biology. </li><li>Strong understanding of quality control and inventory management. </li><li>Experience in oncology and hematology. </li><li>Effective communication skills for data management and patient recruitment. </li><li>Experience in clinical research, including clinical trials and patient record management. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field with 0-1 years of experience or 4+ years of relevant experience without a degree. </li><li>Experience with EDC (Electronic Data Capture) systems and specimen collection. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role operates within a fast-paced environment on a large campus. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm, and requires on-site presence.
