<p>Job Description</p> <p>Join GardaWorld's growing IT Support Team!</p> <p>The IT Support Hardware Specialist is responsible for managing the lifecycle of computers, mobile devices, tablets, and network equipment as required by the field. The hardware specialist works closely with the help desk team to ensure that inventory is properly managed and to meet time-sensitive deadlines for the deployment of hardware</p> <p>What's in it for You</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 / hour </li><li>Work Site Location: St. Louis, MO </li><li>Set Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work. </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. </li><li>Career Growth: Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld </li></ul> <p>Your Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain inventory of computers, mobile devices, tablets, and network equipment. </li><li>Perform imaging of Windows computers using SCCM and Intune technologies </li><li>Manage the lifecycle of Google Chromebook and Pixel devices </li><li>Check returned hardware and prepare for re-issuing as required </li><li>Determine disposition of damaged hardware and send to repair or decommission as needed </li><li>Assist in the development of new hardware processes and testing </li><li>Order hardware peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, headsets, etc. </li><li>Support the help desk with IT support tickets relating to hardware problems. </li><li>Manage the shipping and tracking of all hardware to the field </li><li>Follow up on hardware returns to ensure all devices are returned upon departure of users </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Your Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Authorized to work in the United States </li><li>Able to pass an extensive screening process </li><li>Associate degree or trade school preferred </li><li>CompTIA A+ preferred </li><li>2-3 years of IT hardware experience </li><li>1-2 years of Android and iOS experience </li></ul> <p>Your Skills and Competencies:</p> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on Approach </li><li>Problem Solving </li><li>Communication </li><li>Consultation </li><li>Ethical Practice </li><li>Resilience </li></ul> <p>Ideal Skills, Characteristics, & Experiences:</p> <ul> <li>Results and people-oriented, balancing business considerations </li><li>Process-driven mentality </li><li>Highly organized </li><li>Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Acts with integrity </li><li>Resilient and adaptable </li><li>Ability to develop relationships at all levels </li></ul> <p>GardaWorld: Make the World a Safer Place</p> <p>In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
