<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The City of Bluefield Parks and Recreation Department is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as part-time Splash Pad Staff. This position is responsible for providing a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for visitors while supporting the daily operations of the splash pad.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Greet guests and provide excellent customer service </li><li>Handle ticket sales and admissions </li><li>Supervise the splash pad area to ensure safety and appropriate behavior </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including restrooms and surrounding areas </li><li>Operate and stock concession stand, handle food sales and preparation </li><li>Monitor water features and report any maintenance issues </li><li>Assist with setup, breakdown, and daily opening/closing procedures </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions </li><li>Friendly, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team </li><li>Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions </li><li>Previous customer service or concession experience is a plus </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Work will be performed primarily around the City Park at various locations outside, though additional or alternative jobs may be given.</p> <p>Schedule</p> <p>Shifts vary from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
