<p>Ross Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 6th Grade Science/Social Studies Teacher to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, promote critical thinking, and foster a love of learning in both science and social studies content areas.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and deliver engaging lessons in 6th grade science and social studies aligned with district and state standards</p> </li><li> <p>Create a positive classroom environment that supports academic and social-emotional growth</p> </li><li> <p>Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance student learning</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with grade-level and content-area teams to support student achievement</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in education or related field</p> </li><li> <p>Valid Ohio teaching certification for middle school or grades 4-8, with appropriate endorsements in science and/or social studies</p> </li><li> <p>Strong content knowledge and a passion for teaching</p> </li><li> <p>Effective classroom management and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience teaching in a middle school setting</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with inquiry-based instruction and interdisciplinary teaching strategies</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools</p> </li></ul>
